Last week, we took a boys team and a girls team to play in the Statewide Schools Netball Carnival at Netball SA Stadium. 

The girls fought hard today and came out 4th overall. 

Our first game was against Flagstaff Hill, which we won, 16 - 12. We followed that up with a close game against St Peter’s Woodlands, losing to them by just one goal. Our third game was our best, showing determination and fight for an awesome comeback. We were three goals down at half time and ended up winning against Westminster 17 - 11. We went into finals with some tough competition and unfortunately lost against Colonel Light Gardens and Highgate, placing us fourth out of the Large Schools Pool. It was a great day overall and the girls should be incredibly proud of the games they played.

The boys played 5 games, winning 2 and losing 3. They started their campaign against School Of The Nativity, who they beat easily. They then lost to Edwardstown, followed by another victory against Edwardstown. In the last two matches they were beaten by St Anthonys and Colonel Light Gardens. The boys played their best all day and showed great sportsmanship throughout the carnival.
